.PAUL DEVEREUX
SACRED GEOGRAPHY & Magical Mindscapes
Paul gave a highly illustrated tour of the Ancient World, looking at several varieties of magical mindscapes of the past. We will see how older civilisations invested their landscapes with religious, mythological, and magical meaning. We will travel from Native American desert markings to Buddhist sacred soundscapes, from Egyptian living landscapes to oriental gardens, and much else besides, raising the question, “Can we draw environmental wisdom today from the ancient idea of sacred geography?” This presentation will be in celebration of Paul's major new book, "Sacred Geography", being published by Gaia Books.
Paul Devereux is managing editor of the academic publication, Time & Mind – The Journal of Archaeology, Consciousness and Culture (www.bergpublishers.com), a research affiliate with the Royal College of Art, a Senior Research Fellow of the International Consciousness Research Laboratories (ICRL), Princeton, and the Director of the Dragon Project Trust. He was editor of The ley Hunter journal for 20 years, and has written a great many articles for general publications and a string of peer-reviewed papers. He is author of twenty-six books, dealing variously with the anthropologies of consciousness, archaeoacoustics and other aspects of ancient sites, landscapes and lifeways, as well as anomalous geophysical phenomena. He lectures in Europe, the UK and North America.

ROBERT BAUVAL
Black Genesis: The Ancient Origins of Egypt
The racial and geographical origins of the ancient Egyptians have been a mystery since Champollion deciphered the hieroglyphs in 1822. The prevailing consensus is that the ancient Egyptian civilisation was home-grown on the Nile Valley. But new discoveries in the Egyptian Sahara will challenge this consensus, and show that the origins of the pharaohs hark back several thousands of years before the foundation of the dynastic period (c.3000 BC) and, furthermore, that the first 'Egyptians' were from a black Sub-Saharan race coming from the Tibesti mountains in northern Chad some 12,500 years ago. The oldest known 'astronomical' megaliths in the world, those of of Nabta Playa are examined in this presentation.
Born in Egypt in 1948, Robert Bauval, bestselling author of The Orion Mystery (1994), Keeper of Genesis (1996) and three books with best-selling author Graham Hancock (The Message of the Sphinx, Talisman, and The Mars Mystery), will present the new evidence soon to be published in the book, Black Genesis, (co-authored with US physicist Thomas Brophy). www.robertbauval.co.uk

Walter Cruttenden
Precession and the Lost Star of Myth and Time
Cruttenden will discuss the widespread ancient belief that history moves in a vast cycle with alternating Dark and Golden Ages – something Plato called the Great Year. Just as the spinning earth produces the cycle of night and day, and the orbiting earth produces the seasons Walter will show that the precession observable is also the product of celestial motion, the sun’s orbit around another star, resulting in waxing and waning influences known to the Ancients. This presentation will include evidence from Hamlet’s Mill, an explanation and animation of precession and the reasons for its modern misinterpretation, and an inspiring overview of the mythical hero on the wheel of time.
Cruttenden is the author of the best selling book Lost Star of Myth and Time and writer/producer of the award-winning documentary The Great Year, narrated by James Earl Jones. As Director of the Binary Research Institute Walter and his team research and publish papers on the celestial mechanics of precession and its implications for understanding ancient cultures. Walter is also the organizer of the annual Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge, as well as host of the popular podcast The Cosmic Influence. www.BinaryResearchInstitute.org. Andrew Collins
Finding Eden - the Mystery of the Gobekli Tepe and Giza's Cave Underworld
In southeast Turkey stands the oldest temple in the world. At nearly 12,000 years old, Gobekli Tepe is an enigma to archaeology. Consisting of a series of stone circles, made up of T-shaped pillars bearing exquisite carvings of animals, birds, insects and abstract human figures, this ritual complex was constructed at the end of the last Ice Age by faceless individuals, who rose far beyond the conventional understanding of the hunter-gatherers who occupied the Eurasian continent at this time. Why were these amazing stone circles buried overnight, sometime around 10,000 year ago? It is an enigma that seems to start in Africa some 17,000 years ago, and ends with not only the creation of civilization down in the fertile crescent of Mesopotamia, but also in the sudden emergence of the ancient Egyptian civilization, where the story continues with the discovery in 2008 of a cave underworld beneath the plateau at Giza. Powerful evidence suggests that this underground complex existed ever before even the Pyramid Age, and might well reflect an African origin to the roots of ancient Egyptian religion. It might also hold the key to answering claims that in the vicinity of the Sphinx is a lost Hall of Records.
History and science writer Andrew Collins is a leading expert on Gobekli Tepe, and provides a powerful insight into the strange worlds both at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey and beneath the Pyramids at Giza. His books include From the Ashes of Angels (1996), Gods of Eden (1998), The Cygnus Mystery (2006), and Beneath the Pyramids (2009), in which he discovers and explores the lost underworld that exists beneath the Pyramids of Giza. Andrew, born in 1957, lives with his wife Sue in Marlborough, UK. www.andrewcollins.com. Find the full article on Underworld of the Pharaohs by Andrew Collins here

GARY BILTCLIFFE
The Belinus Line: The Spine of Albion
‘The Spine of Albion’, the title of his latest book, is a culmination of 15 years research and investigations of a powerful north south alignment, the longest ley line in Britain, based on the elusive Belinus Line. The exploration of this line and its associated paths of energy revealed a sacred route along the backbone of Britain incorporating many ancient political, religious and geographical centres of power, many famous and legendary historical characters and the mysterious Knights Templar. With many years experience of dowsing energy currents such as the famous Michael and Mary lines, Gary soon located similar male and female currents along his north south line from the Isle of Wight in the south of England to Durness on the north coast of Scotland.
Gary is an author and researcher of earth mysteries and ancient civilizations. He has appeared on television and radio and lectured for dowsing and earth mystery groups both in this country and in America. He has written articles for local magazines such as the Research into Lost Knowledge Organisation and leads international parties around the sacred sites of Britain, Ireland and Europe. Gary is also a renowned dowser that uses his strong sense of the natural earth energies. This ability has led him to discover the importance of balancing the male and female energies both within ourselves and within the land. www.belinusline.com

The Mysterious Pyramids of Mauritius, Tenerife and Sicily
In January 2008 Gigal and her team re-discovered the existence of seven Pyramids on Mauritius Island (Plaine Magnien). She described the structures as true pyramids after very long years of being lost to the world. Then in June 2009 Gigal and the team discovered a lot of not yet identified pyramids in Sicily and important structures near by and around the Etna volcano, where she discovered different shapes ans structures of the pyramids. The Pyramids of Mauritius and Sicily are similar as those of Tenerife and others in that general area.
Gigal is a French writer and researcher, author of the Giza Secrets Chronicles and correspondent in Egypt for the magazine L'Egypte and is also one of the founders of the Giza for Humanity Organization. Gigal's early years were spent in Africa and South America where here father worked as journalist and diplomat. This has taken her all over the world exploring diverse cultures and civilizations. She speaks modern Egyptian,Spanish, Italian and French and is distinguished to her ability to translate ancient texts. She also lectures extensively on Egypt and leads several in-depth study tours to Egypt every year. www.gigalresearch.com. ANTHONY THORLEY
Landscape Zodiacs of Britain
Landscape Zodiacs are representations of the zodiacal signs and symbolism found in the texture and morphology of rural and urban landscape which broadly mirror the zodiac in the constellations of the ecliptic. The most famous of these, Glastonbury Zodiac, was first described by a remarkable artist and mystic, Katharine Maltwood in the 1920s, but since then over fifty other zodiacs have been described in Britain and Europe. These zodiacs are widely recognised as being associated with rich synchronicities of history, legend, place-names and personal experience which recall the phenomenology of sacred space. Are these mysteries of the British landscape ancient constructions or a modern enthusiasm? Are they simply effusions of a heated creative imagination, projections of pure fantasy, or do they have a more secure status in some dimension of imaginal reality? After a long period of neglect, landscape zodiacs are once again attracting the attention of serious researchers and there are several special interest groups springing up around Britain. In this illustrated presentation Anthony Thorley will review the origins and history of landscape zodiacs and explore some more radical approaches to explaining their unique characteristics.
Anthony Thorley is a retired psychiatrist and medical policy advisor who has been researching earth mysteries for over 30 years. In 2006 he gained an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University and is currently studying for a PhD on the conceptual basis of landscape zodiacs as sacred space. He is slowly completing a book 'Sacred City, Secret City' on the Masonic vision of the development of eighteenth-century Bath. Together with his wife, the writer Celia Gunn, he has developed a particular interest in pilgrimage and ritual journeys which honour ancestral traditions in the sacred landscape and revitalise our relationship with the wider environment. FRANCINE BLAKE
Crop Circles and Megalithic Symbolism
Francine will share her latest findings on the connections between the modern crop circle phenomena and ancient rock carvings from the Neolithic era. She will explore the meaning conveyed by the sacred geometry, advanced mathematics and ancient symbology in crop circles and how these symbols are connected with the megalithic cultures of Wessex, Brittany and other parts of the world over five thousand years ago.
Born in Montreal, Canada, Francine Blake majored in Classical Studies at college and studied Fine Art at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montreal. She has always sought knowledge, and spent twenty years studying ancient wisdom in a school of self-development brought to the West in 1917 by George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff. Introduced to crop circles in 1987, Francine was immediately attracted to them, recognizing many of the symbols she had been studying. She joined the Centre for Crop Circle Studies (CCCS) in 1991, and in 1992 moved to Wiltshire with her family to be closer to the phenomenon. In 1995, she started the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group (WCCSG), where she was elected coordinator, a post she still occupies. She edits The Spiral, the monthly newsletter for the WCCSG, and designs and produces an annual Crop Circle Calendar. She lectures extensively and has given many interviews on radio and television. She lives in the Pewsey Vale near Alton Barnes – the most active area for crop circles in the world (and lots of megaliths) – where she studies the phenomenon full time. www.wccsg.com

MICHAEL TELLINGER
Stone Circles and Ancient Gold Mines in South Africa
Over 1 million circular stone structures lie scattered throughout southern Africa. Until recently these have been called cattle kraal, of little historic value. Extensive research by Michael Tellinger and others has revealed that these are the remains of a vanished ancient civilization dating back tens of thousands of years. It covered an area larger than modern day Johannesburg and London together. Tools, artifacts, and petroglyphs indicate that the Egyptians and Sumerians got much of their knowledge and imagery from this vanished civilization. All of this is crowned by a stone calendar now called Adam’s Calendar that is forcing the academics to question human origins. Scientific evidence shows that this was also a gold mining culture and many prehistoric gold mines are still present throughout the area.
Michael Tellinger has become one of South Africa’s bestselling export authors. His regular articles on human origins and his book Slave Species of God have been praised by readers in over 20 countries. He graduated in 1983 from the University Of Witwatersrand Medical School, Johannesburg, with a B.Pharmaceutics degree, a passion for the cosmos, genetics and human history. His research and astute understanding of his subject matter has made him a regular guest on many radio shows in the USA and UK. http://www.slavespecies.com. ORIGINS OF HUMANKIND, ANCIENT CIVILISATIONS OF SOUTH AFRICA & RISE OF GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Michael Tellinger, author of the groundbreaking books “Slave Species of god”, “Adam’s Calendar” and “Temples of the African Gods”, talks about
how science and astronomy is forcing us to reconsider everything we know about our human origins and how we suddenly appeared on this planet some
250,000 years ago as a new species called Homo sapiens. Examining the millions of stone structures stretched across South Africa, the prehistoric
gold mines and the megalithic stone circles that are ancient astronomical instruments, Michael reveals the astonishing truth about human origins
from the ‘cradle of civilisation’ in deepest South Africa. Filmed at The Assembly Rooms, Glastonbury, UK, May 11th 2010 by Nautilus AV and Megalithomania.

Hugh Newman
BEFORE THE MAYA - The Olmecs, Quetzalcoatl and the Megalithic Origins of Central America
Hugh has recently travelled around Mexico, Guetamala, Hondurus and Belize in search of the pre-Mayan megalithic civilization that flourished as far back as 7000BC. Mexico is famous for its Mayan and Aztec architecture but Hugh has discovered evidence of much earlier cultures, that were of “megalithic” origin and were the inspiration behind the Mayan emergence. The Mayans have been credited with introducing a sophisticated calendar, agricultural practices and incredible stonework, but it is now thought that the 'Olmec' invented the Long Count calendar that ends in 2012 and taught the Maya much of what they knew, with influences spreading into the world of the Zapotec, Toltec, Mixtec and Aztec peoples. Hugh also explores the legend of the 'white god' Quetzelcoatl and gives an overview of the incredible Olmec civilization, who were thought to be African in origin and were part of a prehistoric cosmopolitan culture that travelled the world. Check out the blog - www.hughnewman.wordpress.com
Hugh Newman is an earth mysteries and esoteric science researcher. He organises the Megalithomania Conferences, co-edits Avalon Rising magazine and coordinates talks, films and workshops at numerous festivals. He has researched the Indigo child phenomenon and published a book on the subject. His most recent book, Earth Grids - The Secret Patterns of Gaia's Sacred Sites, has been published by Wooden Books. He is an honorary member of The Antiquarian Society and has spoken at conferences in the UK, Malta, France, Peru and North America. He is currently writing a book about the Wandlebury complex near Cambridge. See his full profile, other DVDs and interviews here
